Easter Blessings

Happy Easter to all of you out there. I went with my daughter to my church this morning, found it a little difficult as this is the first without ( the computer expert ). My son who did not want anything to do with him announced to me yesturday that he was going to see him whilst I was at church. He has had a good time taking the dog for a walk, and seems much calmer.
Whilst at church a little lightbulb went off in my head; it doesn't happen that often so when it does I take note. Easter is about resurection and the start of a different and new life; well I think that must mean me as well. So here's to my new and different life. Doing lots of things alone but seeing and experiencing them in a different light; I hope to learn lots of new things.

Oh what a day can make!

How about this for progress, I have managed to find out how to put a background on my blog. Just one day on and it feels good. Now all I have to do is work out how to put a button on my page to show where I got it from. So until that time, it was from The Grafics Fairy; credit where credits due.
I have been looking for the camara to take pictures of my work and realised after some time that it must now be residing with 'the computer expert'. Oh well what can a girl do but go and buy one for herself. I need to take pictures of the kids at the very least!

I so wanted a blog

For over a year I have been following a multitude of wonderful blogs. I can lose myself in the inner workings of many craft individuals, their lives, loves and woes. All the fabulous posts of  cards, altered art, shabbiness and the Duke of Distress made me think I too could blog about my own creativity and maybe enter a few challenges. My husband said what a good idea, I will help you create one,( he's a computer expert ), we just never got around to doing it.
Then six weeks ago he left me. I don't want to turn this blog into a ' I hate my husband ' and look what a mess he's left me in,; so I will get this out of my system now and move on to the more important issues at hand, CRAFT.
OH what a mess he's left me. Girl 15 with teenage Bi-polar, Boy 12 who now hates his dad, a mother who cannot for the life of her work out how to even put a background on her blog. We are not on speaking terms much, so I refuse ( even if he is a computer expert ) to ask him for help.
I so wanted a blog and I am going to carry on regardless. So please bare with me whilst I find out how to post, take pictures and upload them. Will probably only post once a week, but think that at least is a start.
Bye, bye for now hugs and kisses Lizzy
